Make the meatballs by combining all the needed ingredients
Roll them into balls roughly the same size
Heat your pot with oil and bake the meatballs in batches until brown for 2 minutes. Remove from the pot
Add the butter to the pot and the chopped onion, carrot and kale stalks
Brown for 5 minutes then ad garlic and brown for 1 minute more
Add the flour, stir, then add the water
Bring to a boil, then add the meatballs. Turn to a low and let simmer under the lid for 15 minutes
Add the beans and the kale, remove from heat and put the lid back on. Let sit for 10 minutes
Meanwhile slice some baguette and grill in the oven
Rub with the garlic and serve with soup
